ATHLETE Grease Filters are light weight, aluminium / SS baffle grease stop air filter having non-clogging type characteristic and designed for constant flow.

Construction: Available in three models: made of galvanized steel, aluminum or stainless steel, these 2" thick baffle grease filters contain two layers of roll formed baffles, equally spaced and without any sharp edges.  Spacing creates an airflow that causes grease to collect, drain down the baffles and into collecting trough. Filters are designed to prevent flame from passing through the filter baffles, and are made to withstand different temperature levels.

Application: These filters are used on those kitchen extract systems where functionality and economics are paramount and where the grease load is relatively low.

Filtration Class	These filters are completely made of metal and meet the Class 1 of UL (Underwriters Laboratory) standard designated for such filters.

Filter Media	Media consist of double layer of roll formed baffles made of stainless steel/aluminium/GI.
Gasket	No Gasket is installed in standard filter model. Polyethylene/Foam/Rubber gasket can be ordered on request

Pressure Drop	<2.5mm WG at a face velocity of 2-5m/s.
Operating Conditions	Filter can withstand temperature up to 250oF for aluminium, 450oF for GI and 900oF for 304 SS respectively. These filters can easily be services by washing and cleaning.
Application	Athlete Pre filters are most suited for: Cooking Hoods, Power Plants, Chemical and Fertilizer complexes, as coarse finter in comfort ventilation systems, separators for oil mist and Miscellaneous Industrial Ventilation.
